I chose this cruise because of the timing and the itinerary - Quebec City to Ft. Lauderdale. I'm not sure what the issue was exactly but it seemed like we had to stand in line or wait in a dining room for so many events and facilities. Our previous cruise was on Regal Princess with more passengers onboard and we never had that issue.

We are on a gluten-free regimen (allergy for me, my wife is a team player). This is new for me and I expected this to be an awkward and difficult process. Daniel, our head waiter, made this very easy to deal with and the gluten-free versions of most dishes were exceptionally good. I applaud Daniel and the Princess SOP for special diets.

The entertainment was good to excellent. The song and dance team onboard was very good. The guest entertainers were good to excellent with the Elton John Tribute Show by Jeffrey Allen as the very best. There was a bizarre show by a couple who called themselves Kamikaze Firefly. It was funny but brought out my sixth grade boy self.

Cabin BB

Arnel was our cabin steward and he was excellent. We appreciated his consistent attention to detail. The room was just what we expected and that was fine. The location was fairly convenient and, more important, we felt very little movement.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Nova Scotia)

We had a good time at The Old Triangle Irish Alehouse. Had some cider. Very good.

Boston

We went to the JFK Museum and were so glad that we did. So interesting! This museum is really well done.

Newport

Interesting architecture. Went to the White Horse Tavern.

New York (Brooklyn, Red Hook)

We Ubered over to the 9/11 Memorial Museum. This is a very moving experience. It took me back to that morning but it also reminded of the lives that were going on right up to those tragic moments.

Norfolk

We went to the Chrysler Museum and the USS Wisconsin. Both were very interesting and I was pleased with the variety of exhibits at the Chrysler.
