The Rhine is a very scenic river spotted with castles on the hillside and small picturesque towns on the lowlands. And, of course, lots of vineyards growing up the slopes of the hills. Every day a guide met our group and gave an enlightened and enjoyable tour of the particular town. I won't forget the statue of the spitting child. Watch out or you may get wet!! Also the WWII memorials were ever present. The Gutenberg press and museum was a real treat in the city of Mainz. How fun were the canal boat rides in Strasburg and in Amsterdam, everything so close and colorful! After the city tours we were welcomed back on board with a refreshing drink and damp towels. Every evening we had our choice of appetizer, entrée, and dessert, all of which were very tasty. We had a wonderful and relaxing tour on the Rhine Cruise.
Scenic, small but comfortable. We don't spend much time in our room with the port and bow areas so comfortable!
