If this is your first ever cruise, you will like it. However, if you compare with any other cruise you've been on, you will agree with the following -

- Staff wasn't prepared to service the roughly 5000 passengers on cruise, of which 1200 were children.

- Long lines everywhere. Had to wait 1.5 hours for dining in certain restaurants.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

Stewart was probably new and didn't do a good job with the cleaning. Had to ask for room to be cleaned multiple times. Balcony was very small and had rust in the ceiling. Didn't matter much, because it was filled with smoke. Notified staff 2x, wrote to Hotel Director Vuk.

- Only good thing was the Fun Zone for kids. Staff was very good, however had to wait 20 minutes to drop off and another 15 minutes to pick up kids.

Don't think they really care, as ship was sold out. Hopefully someone from NCL will read this review and take appropriate action. Also glad that Breakaway is leaving NYC and hoping Epic will offer a better guest experience.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Not much to do in Port Canaveral. Some people visited Disney, but with the amount of time, it is not worth it. I took public transportation to Cocoa Beach. It was only $1.50 each way and the beach was good.

Great Stirrup Cay

Have to take tenders. Lot of people, so it takes about 30 minutes waiting in line to get to the tender. Island was crowded. Almost impossible to find a chair. Water was good, but got out at 2 pm and food was finished. Kids were hungry and had to rush back to the ship, but that took over an hour.

Nassau

Nassau was good, but slightly overpriced. Have to haggle everywhere. Rented 2 scooters for a total of $110 including tax and gas. Visited Atlantis, Baha Mar and some other parts of Nassau. Shopped a bit at Cable Beach, but it was not cheap. You can use USD everywhere, but don't get back local currency to the US as it is worthless.
