I was with my siblings and mom, five of us total. We spent the three extra days in Prague and had a great time exploring. Each day we found new area and less touristy areas to explore. Our cruise director, Hendrick, was very informative. Due to last minute river rising, our cruise itinerary changed. We could not board in Nuremberg. However, Avalon was very accommodating in that we were comped "optional excursion" and our cruise was still a full 7 nights.

As with any tour guide, it is hit or miss which one you get. Some were exception, but all were good.

We loved the housekeepers and reception staff. The servers were also a joy. We had great conversation and learned much about the life of cruise staffer. Read more
