We enjoy all the sea days and activities on transatlantic cruises for a relaxing and comfortable vacation. My husband is partially handicapped so cruises with a lot of ports are difficult for him. The crew was very helpful and supportive of his needs. We upgraded to Aqua class for this cruise and were not disappointed. The food and service in the Blu dining room were superb. The entertainment was excellent with good variety and quality. Our cabin steward was the best and went out of his way to make us comfortable. The lectures were not of interest to us but there were plenty of options available to keep us busy during the day. The Captains Club activities provided good socializing opportunities and Maila,, the hostess, was kind, helpful, available and did an excellent job. The Elite lounge for the evening socials was packed and very difficult to find seating. Perhaps by extending the hours from 5-8 the early diners could use the first hour and the later diners would be more able to find seating for cocktails before their dinner hour. We would certainly travel again on the beautiful Celebrity Eclipse.
Our cabin was large and comfortable. Our cabin steward, Andrew, kept it in perfect condition . He took pride in his work and it showed. He was also friendly and helpful in any requests we made.
