This was our first cruise but definitely not our last. The Pride of America is a beautiful ship. They have everything you could possible need on board. Our room was excellent. Much more roomy than we anticipated and the bed was super comfortable. So glad we got a balcony so we could watch the ship coming into port and we got spectacular views of the Napali coast in Kauai. The entire ship is spotless. It was like staying in a beautiful hotel. The food was excellent, from the Aloha buffet to the Cadillac Café, Moderno, La Cucina, Liberty Dining room and Cagney’s Steak House. The service and food were phenomenal! Top notch! Fitness center had way more equipment than expected and was just as good as our gym. The entertainment was fantastic, particularly the magician, the comedian and singer Toby Beau. We really enjoyed all the entertainment they offered. The pool area was great and they had a few BBQ’s for passengers. The excursions they offer are wonderful. We were happy with each one we chose. Getting on and off the ship is easy and security is tight which made us feel secure. The waters between the islands can be a bit rough and the ship did rock a little but we both found we slept better than ever with the boat rocking us to sleep. Overall the staff was fantastic. There were multiple daily announcements about the day’s activities. Special recognition to John from Ottowa in the Waikiki lounge. We had a great hockey conversation with him; very friendly and knowledgeable. We missed the lecture about how the ship runs so John gave us an overview and answered all our questions. It’s remarkable how this ship is organized. Also, another shout out to David from Long Beach. He was our server for Thanksgiving dinner in the Liberty Dining room. His service was excellent and he was just a super nice guy. Finally, we’d like to thank our head housekeeper Annabelle who took excellent care of us. She made our trip more comfortable and enjoyable. We were blown away by our first cruise and so glad we chose NCL

Room was spacious and had everything we could possibly need including a coffee maker. Plenty of room for all our clothes. Suitcases fit nicely under the bed. We were not crowded at all. The most surprising thing is that the bed is probably the most comfortable bed we've slept in away from home. We got a great night sleep every day. Have an aft balcony gave us great views of the Napali Coast in Kauai.
