We had a great cruise. Galveston has streamlined the embark experience with minimal lines and check ins. We arrived during our appointment window and were on the ship in less than 30 minutes. Overall we had a great experience. We noticed that we had already seen the 80s and Beach music/variety shows but really enjoyed the Lip Sync battle! Comedy shows were hit or miss for PG and R venues. We enjoyed that Carnival always used the BIG cherries in drinks! Our first time purchasing the Cheers and Bottomless Bubbles packages. We didn't like that the kids had to get their soda from the bar and sign bills, too much to ask of a child. Our dining service was good, we had a large seating group! We disembarked with self assist, waited in the lounge for about 45 minutes then off the ship in less than 30 minutes! Always a great way to spend time with family on a budget.

Lido deck room was awesome! We didn't have to use the elevators as much and had easy access to food and pools.
