Sail Date: Aug 2017
Cabin: Explorer Suite

This was our second Viking and it met the high standards of the first one.

The service was excellent. The food continues to be superb and the staff are the best. Like one big family. The shore excursions were just the right length and time.

Being a short cruise little time was actually spent looking at the countryside as most movement was at night.

Cabin Review

Explorer Suite

Cabin ES

We had booked cabin 203 which was ample for our needs. However, we were ‘upgraded’ at the last minute to some sort of suite. Although the extra amenities were very nice, the suite had very little closet space and therefore very few hangers. It had only 2 drawers compared to 6 in the original cabin. I would never accept another upgrade like this as it turned out to be very inconvenient.

I feel they should ask before just upgrading.

Port Reviews

Avignon

Beautiful town. Would like more time there.

Arles

Old town with a lot of history.
