Service for the cabin and Grand dining area were wonderful. I thought the menu was a bit limited and redundant but overall good food. I had already typed out a review but lost it when my password and name obviously did not match. That is an old folks problem--too many name combinations and too many passwords. Overall we had a wonderful trip. Mom says the railings in some parts of the ship needed refinishing....sticky....Service was excellent with the exception of the Irish bar. On not one but two occasions sat down to a wet table just cleaned with no attempt to dry it. Good for McDonalds but poor example of good service. We thought the shore excursions were high priced and were disappointed with ours in Panama but the desk took care of us on that point. The entertainment was excellent. We did not drink as we were on the "cheap" package. It was a last minute idea to go on cruise and I think we got the basics we paid for. I do think the drink package was far too high for my billfold but that's just my mid-west upbringing. This is a note from an old retired military man. There was just ONE get together for us and many missed it. I will say again just one with no goodies I had previously experienced on Carnival. However, you folks being totally politically correct did have an LGBT meeting EACH DAY OF THE CRUISE. I guest that is far more important than thanking old soldiers. I know I maybe a bit sarcastic there but you could step up a bit more for those who served!!!
