We took a group of 35 for our first river cruise and couldn't be happier with the entire experience. We had time to explore Amsterdam before embarkation and found it to be one of the most enchanting cities we have ever visited.

Our embarkation was flawless and because we were a group we had the opportunity to meet staff prior to the official beginning of the cruise. Our cruise director, Maddy Caldaruse was very helpful in answering our questions and helping to discover that another group had a priest as one of it's members. She even was so kind to introduce us and allow us to have a Mass said in the lounge as we cruise away from Amsterdam on Sunday. I estimate 60 or so attended Mass which was a great experience. Who else can say they attended Mass on a ship while traveling down the Rhine?

The AmaKristina is a new ship and is in great shape. The Cabins were clean and always made up promptly every day. Dining was terrific, everyone in our group claimed to have gained weight from the delicious food served by exceptional staff who demonstrated daily they were interested in making sure we all had a great experience.
