Cabin: Junior Suite

This was our third visit to the Apple Isle which was more about the journey than the destination. We wanted to plan a getaway that would give us a chance to relax and recharge the well worn batteries.

As this was our 25th wedding anniversary we decided to book a Junior Suite located on deck 4 cabin number 4235. This was a very pleasant room that had oodles of room, with large floor length windows and a very cosy balcony. I have heard people have been worried about the outside crew stairs leading to deck three which you can see from the interior of the room but only if you open the curtain. As we kept this curtain shut most of the time we were never bothered by any sounds or people movement.

The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spa bath was used on a few occasions which was very spacious and there was enough cupboard space to fit all our clothes leaving plenty of spare hanging and draw space for at least two more occupants. The dressing table area leading into the bathroom, was a very cleaver area to sit and complete your makeup and hair.

We had a few issues with the air conditioning and the balcony door not shutting properly, but our cabin steward Bobbin was very proficient at attending to these maintenance errors.

Port Reviews

Port Arthur

Beautiful history filled spot.

Sydney (Australia)

We travelled by train to Circular Quay and had breakfast on the pier. I love the atmosphere in this area of the city, one of my favourite places to people watch, whilst having a good cup of coffee. What a great way to start the day.
