We are not new to Viking, indeed this was our 10th river cruise with them and we have loved them all. The staff are always outstanding, great food, great excursions, great experience. This was, however, our first experience of an "Explorer Suite". It was truly awesome. Nothing was overlooked. Chilled champagne on check in, mini bar, flowers, fruit, snacks, a generous double aspect lounge with side and rear balcony, Juliet balcony on the bedroom, roomy wet room style shower.....absolute luxury.

Rolf is one of the new fleet of long ships which are all beautifully appointed.

Paris was wonderful as always and the cruise includes some fabulous places you might otherwise never find. The excursions using local guides and the quiet vox machines are always excellent. Read more
