Sail Date: Dec 2017
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

This was our second cruise in the Grand Princess (and 13th on Princess). Overall we were very pleased, but of course there were some concerns.

THE GOOD:

-- excellent cabin steward; very helpful as we prepared to host a cocktail party; great attitude

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MD

We enjoy the extra space of the Princess mini-suites, especially on sea days. The new beds are very comfortable -- a great investment for Princess to have made. But the ship is almost twenty years old, and not up to standards of other ships -- we did like the new carpet, replaced since our previous cruise on the Grand. As an example, due to the lack of electical outets in the cabin, I have learned to bring along a multi-outlet electrical extension chord in order to be able to charge multiple devices (two cell phones and two tablets).

Port Reviews

Kauai

Walked to the Marriott, as had been suggesting by the Hawaiian guide on the ship. A nice place to relax and have a drink.
