After a 5 year hiatus from cruising we finally got to sea again to celebrate a belated 30 year wedding anniversary. Traveling with both adult sons and future daughter-in-law, Christmas break was the best opportunity to get all five of us together. Ultimately port selection determined booking the Regal sailing as St Thomas, St Lucia and Barbados were islands we wanted to return to. Booked cruise through Cruise.com so didn't know upfront that the 8 day cruise out of San Juan was also a 11 day out of Ft L. (and also a 21 day out of Ft L).

Overall - a great experience and good first impression of Princess. Definitely put Princess on the short list of cruise lines to consider in the future.

Flew into San Juan on 19 Dec. staying in one of the hotels a few miles from the airport (Double Tree). Hotel was in good condition, as was a lot of San Juan that could be seen from the air. Most notable was that the good portion of the traffic lights we came across were not operating. Drivers seemed to be able to negotiate intersections w/o a lot of drama. Went to the Bacardi's distillery for their rum tasting tour. If you are into wine/beer/spirits tasting I think you will like this tour.

Cabin IB

We had three adjacent inside cabins on deck 11 about as far forward as you can get. No one in party had an issue with ship's motion. We traditionally sail in inside cabins and found these to be of good size/layout. Plenty of storage space, average size bathroom. Room has 40" TV with a decent selection of movies on demand and ESPN sports. I found the bed/pillows comfortable. Had an excellent cabin steward, Amnard (Thailand).
