Fun way to spend New Year's Eve on a fantastic ship. This felt like a premium cruise with exceptional entertainment and the best dining room food we've had in a long time. The wait staff handled a food allergy and special requests from our group without fault. The We Will Rock You show was outstanding. I recommend doing New Years Eve on a ship at least once - it was lots of fun with many choices of activities for the evening. Travelling at that time of year (Dec 30 to Jan 7) can be risky. While the captain did his best to outrun a storm (full speed to arrive in Florida the evening prior to schedule) and passing around the storm on the return sailing, we still had very cool, cloudy and rainy weather for each day of the trip. Luckily a brief few hours of good weather in our first Nassau port. Unfortunately, the weather caused turbulent waters when we were supposed to go to Coco Cay, Bahamas, and tendering could not be done safely so we had to miss that port. Disappointing but, of course, not RCI's fault. Safety first. Despite the bad weather, we still look back on this as a fun holiday.

Cabin E1

Cabins on Anthem of the Seas are well-laid-out with more room than on other ships. Bed is comfortable. Shower is bigger. More storage.
