We have travelled with Royal Caribbean several times on the Oasis and the Allure and we were extremely happy with all of those cruises. We chose The Anthem of the Seas for our Xmas cruise because we wanted to go back to Royal Caribbean. We have cruised with Cunard, NCL and MSC in the past.

The ship was great and the technology superb, especially the robotic cocktail makers and the Two 70 Theatre.

Dining was a disgrace. Food was ok but to allow men in shorts and flip flops in the dining room, especially on a formal night is unforgivable. DON'T BOTHER DRESSING FORMAL. In our opinion RC should consider no longer having formal nights it seems the average American does not want this. On the Queen Mary 2 dining room dress codes are strictly adhered to.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D7

Cabin was lovely, spacious and well maintained...... but, they are economising big time. No longer Aveda shampoo and shower gel, the gel was replaced with a bar of soap. And no bedtime cholate.
