Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

We have been cruising since 1998, on both Royal and Celebrity. Our friends were going on this cruise and invited us to go along. We thought it would be fun to celebrate New Year's Eve on a cruise ship. And it was.

However, It was cold outside and it seemed like they could never get the ship warm. We were always cold and even in our stateroom. We had to keep the drapes closed to keep the cold out. We paid for a balcony so we could look out.

The food: in the dining room, many times, the food was cold. Also, twice I had the fish and it was overcooked and dried out. Also, there really is not a very good selection. In the Windjammer, it was as though the food had been out a long time. In the solarium, the French toast was hard, in fact an officer had them remove about 4 trays.

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Our cabin was almost always cold. We had to keep the drapes closed to try to keep it warm. The toilet was plugged and then the shower.
