The only river cruise I could get my husband to agree to because it was going to Normandy. However, we both loved the whole trip! The cabin, the food, the crew were all outstanding! The views of the French countryside were so beautiful! It was such a delight to visit the small towns and villages along the Seine. Monet’s gardens were one of the many beautiful highlights! Each included tour at the different towns we docked at were led by very knowledgeable locals. The tour guides gave us the history of each of the French villages we visited as we walked along seeing the sites that the guides described.

The ship itself was the perfect size, less than 200 passengers which made it easy to meet new friends and dinner mates. The food at each meal was so tasty and presented like a true first class restaurant. The service at meal time was amazing! The servers were very friendly and accommodating and their service was better than any we have had stateside and we’ve eaten at many restaurants! The cruise director was also amazing, he was so funny and delighted us with information about upcoming shore excursions as well as humorous comments about the daily happenings.

Cabin Review

Veranda Suite

Cabin AA

It was compact but with a king size bed and wonderful pillows. The bathroom was stocked with lovely thick towels and a large comfortable shower as well as heated floors. Adequate closet space was provided as well as under bed storage for suitcases.

Viking thought of everything by providing all the comforts of home.
