Cabin: French Balcony

We wanted to try a river cruise and found it was so much more relaxing than ocean cruises. The service was wonderful as was the food. The small ship made it more likely to meet new people. The tours were well led and the guides were easy to hear and understand. Our cabin with a French balcony was comfortable but with very little space to store clothes. Cabins with a regular balcony had almost twice as much storage space. It was fun going through 68 locks rising in elevation and then going back down. It was interesting to see the top deck being collapsed to pass under low bridges and then restored to full height. Also it was nice to have beer and different wine included with each of the the meals. The free WiFi was also appreciated. Overall it was a wonderful cruise and we are looking forward to another river cruise soon.
