A quick 4 night cruise for my 2 college kids, husband and I. I appreciated the smallness of the ship - didn't feel like we had to travel far to get from one place to another. Breakfast in Windjammer was great! The lunch in Windjammer was strange - food I didn't know and didn't look good. Chips/Nachos and Pizza was horrible in Park Cafe. Main Dining room dinners in evening were very tasty and staff was very quick to get us in and out. Enjoyed My Time Dining each night. Daytime Activities onboard were pretty sparce - but the staff attempted to keep people entertained. LOTS of people brought board games and cards as entertainment during the day. Evening shows were fine.

My complaint was the Junior Suites. They are right under the Solarium - so from 1am-2:30am it was constant noise from above as staff cleaned and moved chairs/tables. I was kept awake every night due to that and the creaking sounds from this older ship.

This was not our first cruise - but the RCL is really cutting back on its offerings. Not even paper or pen inside stateroom! it was a relaxing warm cruise - and even though I didnt sleep well - enjoyed just getting away for a few days and not having to cook or clean.

DO NOT BOOK Junior Suites on Vision of Seas!! Our room was located under the Solarium. I thought this would be quiet -- NOT AT ALL. Every night from 1am to 2:30am staff would drag the tables and chairs across the floor. This woke me up every night - and it was constant. I would never book on Deck 8 again. Also since this is an older boat - the room creaked constantly at night - also keeping me awake. The only plus was that the Junior Suite was quite large. Nice room - but very, very noisy. My children in the next room and my spouse were also kept awake by the noise (and I had a sound machine running very loudly and could not drown out creaking or Solarium noise)
