I like the size of the ship with approximately 2850 guests. It's easy to get around to multiple events and other than embarkation, the elevators are always quick. With dozens of friends aboard, we were always sure to see them during the sea days as well as at dinner. The Equinox recently refurbished and well-done décor. Only needed a longer cruise to experience all the activities.
The food was always the right temperature and everything was of excellent standard from bread to desserts. Good service from Agus. Specialty dining in Murano was an intimate, delicious, incredible option, but actually the main dining room Silhouette and Ocean Café buffet do a fine preparation as well.
The staff is friendly, but sometimes lacked in going that extra step as I found on other lines. At the main dining room our bartender for the table was mainly absent, and the casino bar was a bit slow in responding to walk-up orders. The Gastrobar staff seemed the friendliest, but I didn't try all the bars.
Large covered balcony on the 12th deck, same deck as spa, solarium, and pools. One flight up to 14th deck (no 13) to buffet.
Plenty of storage in bath and in cabin closet and storage above bed as well as room for suitcases below bed.
