Other family members had already signed up for the cruise. We joined them. We had heard very good reviews about Viking River cruises and were not disappointed. We would go on another given the opportunity. The embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly. The food choices were plentiful, a wide range of choices and always some vegetarian and regional choices. The crew was over the top GREAT! When we go again, we want the same crew. It was wonderful to have the walking track on the top deck for the days of cruising. You could walk from Passau all the way through the Wachau Valley, lovely. We were very pleased to be able to watch some of the evening lounge special events on the TV in our room. With having such a full day sometimes, it was nice to relax in our stateroom and not miss the entertainment on board. The on board cameras also provided fine views from the bow. Nice to check out the weather before venturing out of doors. Thank-you for such a memorable experience.
