I chose this cruise for the itinerary. It was changed a couple of times as we could not go to St Croix or St Maarten because of hurricane damage. Celebrity opted for St Kitts and Martinique in place of those two. We weren't disappointed. I have been on 8 Princess Cruises, 3 NCL, 1 Royal Caribbean. This ship by far offered the best entertainment. We saw a comedian, a magician, 3 Divas and a show called This is Life. All very good. Especially the Divas and This is Life!! There is a lack of late evening entertainment but I find that the same on Princess. We were sailing on New Year's eve and the party provided by the Cruise line was outstanding. We had a wonderful time. I think this is the cleanest ship I've ever been on. Especially around the pool. There were people constantly making sure the drink glasses and food plates were removed promptly. Not so much on other cruises that we have been on. We enjoyed eating in the dining rooms for breakfast , lunch and dinner. We opted to stay away from the buffet as much as possible. We only ate there when we had an early excursion. The food was always fresh and delicious. We prefer to be pampered in the dining room and it also helps us to not overeat. Although you can request as much food as you want. The service is outstanding and friendly. I have two complaints. I thought that the bartenders weren't very friendly. I suppose it's because they are always busy. We had the most fun at the bars on NCL. They were always fun. The second complaint is one I have with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity alike. The muster drill is awful. I understand that they have to have it, but it shouldn't take an hour or more. I had a headache when we left for all the unnecessary information. We should not have been made to sit there while they talked about everything going on that day. Stick with the drill - get people in and out quickly. Embark for Summit was a breeze as was disembark. We didn't wait long to get through customs. As a courtesy, Celebrity offer a free transfer to the airport. It was on a large clean air conditioned bus. Very comfortable. We had a balcony concierge room. It was quite comfortable. It had the most storage of any cruise line with the exception of the Jr Suite on Royal Caribbean which offered a walk in closet. Also, this is the first time the Captain was on disembark and was shaking everyone's had as they were leaving, thanking us for sailing with them. .I was quite impressed. I will definitely cruise with Celebrity again.
