We wanted to see Algeria and Tunisia, which few ships visit. We have had many good experiences on Viking river cruises so we wanted to try the ocean ship.

Good points: beautiful ship, comfortable cabins, good food, good service. Our cabin was larger than standard for the category. I really appreciated the frequency with which veal appeared on the menus. Liked the chance to see new ports.

Not so good points: The specialty restaurants were not so special, serving cold food on two occasions and the wrong order on one. Read more
