We had a great time. We traveled with old friends with whom we had taken two other trips. The service was terrific as was the staff in all areas of the ship. The meals were excellent and we loved the fact that we did not HAVE to change into fancy clothes for dinner unless we wished to do so. The side excursions were all excellent and the extra trips we took were well worth our time and a little extra cost.

The size of the ship and the number of guests was what really made the difference for us when deciding to try a river cruise. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

We took a cruise 2 years ago out of Venice on the Adriatic We loved what we saw and enjoyed family, but a cruise with under 200 people as the Viking River Cruise is wins hands down. Disembarking was a dream on this cruise with a bus within feet of the ship. Loved that!
