My husband & I choose this cruise for it's value. We had never been on a Costa ship. This was our 9th or 10th cruise and we had never had a bad experience.

The ship itself is beautiful and the entertainment was awesome but that's about it. The food was not hot even in the dining room. Our waiter seemed overworked. He barely had time to talk to us. Staff didn't really speak to us except for our room attendant. It was difficult finding anyone who spoke English.

A lot of people both crew & passengers were sick. (This was told to me by an attendant I spoke with when I went looking to purchase something for a cough.)There was nothing available not even cough drops. I developed a very bad cough. Read more
