Two nights in Hong Kong's Marco Polo Hotel and two nights at the end in Singapore's Hotel Jen finished off our first Azamara cruise beautifully.
Boarding was a breeze but the roll call for the drill after embarking was a total shambles. Due to this fiasco we did not make it to the cruise critic get together.
Liked the two nights in ports, size of the ship, being able to cruise up the rivers in Bangkok and Saigon, the first ever bridge lessons by Agnes, and Trivia. Our cruise travelling friends took over from Agnes and we played with them nearly every day.
Loved the entertainment with Eric and Alisha, who has the voice of an angel along with the service and quality of the food. What was not to like? Had a X 4 specialty restaurant package but really could have eaten in the restaurant or buffet any time and been just as happy (I don't eat seafood or lamb and very little beef). The couple we were travelling with and my husband love seafood and quality beef and were not disappointed with the chateau Bryon served in the specialty restaurant. We found the quality of the wines quite reasonable as were the cocktails.
Must mention that we found some of the food to be quite salty.
Even though we have been to all the ports before except for Ko Samui, which in hindsight I would have happily missed, we loved re-visiting them.
Shower curtains are so yesterday!!!
Want to do another Azamara cruise but need to know that Eric will be part of it.
Emmanuel looked after our cabin beautifully at all times. Loved the quality cotton sheets and our balcony. Do away with the shower curtain by taking away some of the bedroom space to add on to the bathroom.
