We chose this cruise for the ports and for the price. The ports were places I knew very little about, but they were all so interesting and beautiful. The ship was very nice and all the crew was friendly and took care of all our needs. The rooms were clean and very nice. Love the heated floors in the restroom and the beauty products are great! The different restaurants had a great variety and were very good. I suggest checking the menus in the specialty dining venues because they do change during the cruise. Embarkation and disembarkation were very smooth. It is a nice touch to have someone with you at the airport to make sure you find your way. Loved the spa and the thermal spa, it was a great area just to relax in. The local people who lead the excursions are fantastic and teach you so much more about the local culture! We would love to do another Viking Ocean Cruise!

Port Reviews

Venice

Tough place to get around. Loved seeing the sights, but we did get lost.

Zadar

We were parked right next to the sea organ, very nice location!

Dubrovnik

Such a neat town. Really enjoyed seeing it from up above!

Kotor

Don't miss the ride into the port, it is fantastic!

Athens (Piraeus)

So much here to see. We did a private tour with just the 4 of us and a guide. Made it easier to get around and see so much!
