We chose this cruise to visit places we had yet to see or had not visited recently. The choice of Viking was based upon the time of the cruise and Viking's reputation.

The reception at the airport, transportation to the ship, and embarkation were all well organized and went smoothly. The few hours wait for access to our cabin was spent pleasantly in the Explorer's Lounge.

We were in a Veranda class stateroom. We found it to be a bit cramped and will upgrade to a larger stateroom on our next cruise. The amenities, however, were much more than acceptable and we were quite comfortable. We made good use of the veranda for light meals and reading. Read more
