Sail Date: Oct 2017

Chose this cruise to enjoy Fall color and to see ports of call that would be primarily populated with "locals" at this time of the year. There were a significant variety of optional tours which we took advantage of. The tours were well managed and fun. Weather turned out to be very pleasant, which allowed for full use of outdoor activities on board and off. We extended our stay at the final port of call, New York.

A change in our travel agenda was required due to migrating whales. This was unexpected and eliminated several tours we were looking forward to. However, Viking handled the modification to the agenda well, offering enjoyable alternatives so the outcome remained positive, overall.

Both Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly during our trip and transfers to the locations of our activities was handled effectively.

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse Junior Suite

Cabin was spacious, well located on the ship and with amenities that added to the overall onboard sailing experience.
