Took this cruise because it was a port close to home and enabled me to save a few bucks flying with my family to a warmer port. Ship is a museum! RCCl did a great job with the set up of the ship. There were activities all day, but they issue i felt was I did not know about them. The announcements were maid very infrequently and when they were made were very mono tone. I had the Royal IQ and read the daily schedual but missed many of the activities i would have wanted to do because of this.

We did not eat in any of the specialty restaurants while on the ship and did my time dinning, but the service was very spotty. They were training new staff and the main waiters were very overwhelmed. Waited a very long time for food.

Getting a drink was never an issue on the ship. There are bars and small drink stations set up everywhere and with the premium alcohol package they were doubling the shots in every drink happily. My children and wife also made good use of the beverage and soda packages. Water bottles are plentiful and they give you 2-4 at a time if you want. Also Starbuck is included in any package above the soda package.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

Very nice - bigger than i thought It would be. Very clean and had plenty of electrical sockets

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Nothing to do at the port unless you are brave and want to do the theme park. We have done NASA twice and don't see spending the money to do again
