Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

Not a "bad" experience, just not a good one either. Mediterranean company, so probably 60% of cruisers did not speak English and every single Announcement on the loudspeakers was repeated in five different languages. I also speak Spanish, but we could seldom even chat with people on the elevator or at the same dining table.

After ten days, we were tired of very crowded buffet dining or two-hour restaurant meals -- and both were Noisier than usual! Other than the specialty dining restaurants, there were no other choices for food. There was also only the main theater performance each night; we missed having options like a Comedy Club and individual performers (guitarists, etc) that started before 10 pm.

Also missed having a promenade deck to get out and walk. Short walkway outside on deck 7 had any views blocked by lifeboats. Pool deck too crowded for walking.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin was similar to most balcony cabins. However, wish we'd known that the balcony had a SOLID railing because of its location; we would've chosen another cabin, because we could not see out if we sat in the chairs on deck.
