We always wanted to complete a Panama canal cruise. We decided on the full transit because the itinerary had several beautiful stops on both the Caribbean and Pacific side.

Except for Aruba we arranged our own tours or did our own thing. Scuba diving at Aruba was very good. I would recommend it.

One reason we enjoy Princess is very few children on Princess cruises. They cater more towards a mature adult theme. A few things for Kids to do but not a lot.

Cabin ID

I would not recommend this room. A bit noisy on rough sea days and a bit too cramped. Rooms B729 & B731 the rooms were a bit larger but the shower was very small and difficult to move in.

Port Reviews

Los Angeles

Stayed at Hotel within walking distance of port. Nice area and the USS Iowa is now a museum.

Puerto Vallarta

We just took the City bus outside the cruise port. 8 Mexican peso or less than 50 cents US. Took bus 5 km to Malecon boardwalk. Lots to see and do here.

Huatulco

Had a great private tour of City in Huatulco. Difficult to do any tour other than City outskirts because ship was not docked long enough. Still we had a great time seeing Huatulco.

San Juan del Sur

Loved this port. We took a private tour with Nicaragua adventures. Great tour & tour guide. Ride is 1-1/2 hours each way but we had lots of time at port. Lots to see and do here.
