Went for a birthday celebration with 25 family & friends so a brief relatively inexpensive cruise was the goal. Ship was tired & in need of refurbishing. Felt crowded. Cabin (7086) was smaller than I would have wished. But, plenty of storage space. Beds were just OK. A/C was excellent. Soundproofing was good. Food was plentiful but low mediocre. Surprisingly, best meal of the day was lunch. Service at dinner, despite friendliness, was very SLOW. It was abundantly clear that there was a significant shortage of staff! Planned to save stfafing costs? Entertainment was typical but a bit above average quality. Ports were low level as expected but aquaria & gardens on Atlantis were worth the visit even though the $42 per person charge seemed exorbitant. Despite our precautions, 25% of our party of 25 was sick the day after we returned requiring doctor visits for a few. Another example of the old bromide--you get what you pay for.
