Sail Date: Feb 2018

I finally had a chance to experience my first cruise. I have to say, sailing aboard Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas was nothing short of amazing. We sailed from Miami, spent 2 days at sea, stopped in St. Thomas, then St. Maarten, and ended up in San Juan, PR.

Preparing for the cruise, I was really looking forward to the island stops. However, I think I had more fun on the ship enjoying the entertainment. We attended the comedy show with Troy Thirdgill, the Invitation to Dance production, the Hot Art Cool Ice Ice Show, the Love & Marriage Show, karaoke, Finish That Lyric, and more. Most of the stuff we did on the islands were done on our own without using the ship’s excursion services. However, for anyone visiting St. Maarten, I’d highly recommend the Party Bus excursion (http://www.thestmaartenpartybus.com/). We purchased it on Priceline.

Our cabin with a balcony was cool and always clean, thanks to Dewa our attendant. It was really nice to be able to open the sliding door and enjoy the wind and sound of the seas after a long night. Waking up in the morning and opening the balcony door was nice too.
