The Rhine Rivet ports of call were all new to me. The river cruise was the perfect way to experience all that was to be seen.
Local color was featured on the daily shore excursions. Only on port of call’s shore excursion, the Black Forest, required a “long” bus ride. Although too long on the bus for me, the over all experience was worth the long bus ride. A stretch break was provided along the way.
The on board experience was typical for river cruising. There was always plenty of evening activity provided by the crew or local guest performers.
Meals were great and special needs were always taken care of.
The crew was helpful, informative, and took care of the passengers wants and needs.
The availability of coffee and tea throughout the Cruise was greatly appreciated.
As a sailor, I wish I had more information about the river, the locks, and navigation aids along the river.
The cabin was well appointed and functioned well for us.
