The Rhine Rivet ports of call were all new to me. The river cruise was the perfect way to experience all that was to be seen.

Local color was featured on the daily shore excursions. Only on port of call’s shore excursion, the Black Forest,required a “long” bus ride. Although too long on the bus for me, the over all experience was worth the long bus ride. A stretch break was provided along the way.

The on board experience was typical for river cruising. There was always plenty of evening activity provided by the crew or local guest performers. Read more
