From the moment we entered the ship & saw the beautiful interior with such clean lines & fresh colors, we were then escorted to our suite by an excellent staff always willing to serve. We unpacked our things finding plenty of space in the well-organized rooms with state-of-the-art features. During our cruise, we always had fantastic meals where we found superior quality and while quantity was availabile, it didn't overwhelm us like some other cruises. We took advantage of the daily on-shore experiences and found the guides to be very knowledgeable and fun.

We chose the Viking Grand European Tour because we had heard Viking was by far, the best cruise line and secondly, friends had told us the Budapest to Amsterdam route was extremely beautiful traveling four countries and three major rivers. I think we went thru 68 locks as we sailed from the Rhine to the Main onto the Danube. Seeing castles and windmills both from the water and upclose via tours was truly magical.

We can't wait to take another Viking Cruise
