This was my first river cruise & I was a tag-a-long with friends that selected this cruise because we went during 500th anniversary of the Reformation. I loved everything about this cruise, but especially the smaller size ship, the attention to every detail and comfort crew (whether it was dining, housekeeping or greeting from the captain). Every time we arrived at the ship, from initial embarkation to each time back from an excursion, the crew greeted us back and gave everyone a special treat like heavenly chocolate or a warm shot of a delicious drink to warm us up on a cold day. With cooler fall weather, when we weren’t dining or on an excursion, I spent lots of time in the lounge with other passengers, all who were interesting and fun to be with. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and there were so many enjoyable and/or educational things to do. We had wonderful local tour guides, and our program director, was just amazing, but as were all the crew. I loved the couple days in Berlin and Prague, before and after the river cruise, but didn’t care so much for the Prague hotel that was not as close to the downtown as I thought we would be. But, this was at the end, and I was looking forward to getting home. I enjoyed this so much that I’m already signed up for two more cruises with Viking.
I liked the location and the floor to ceiling window that opened. But it was too cool to keep open. There was a nice tv, but never watched it, too many more interesting things to do. Chargers were there for quiet box for excursions which was convenient & plenty of plugs that worked for everything. The safe worked great. Bathroom small but functional. All good, especially liked that never heard noise from hall or walls.
