Hawaii was on our bucket list and a cruise seemed to be the best way to see more than one island. It was a smaller ship than what we've been on in the past but the sailing was smooth, the food was great and the service was great. It was a much older crown then we anticipated but with the cost it makes sense. The only bad experience we had during the whole cruise is when my husband fell getting on the tender to get back to the ship. It was extremely rocky and the crew did its best to get everyone on the tenders safely to get back to the ship. His falling was not their fault, it was just unfortunate that the tender dipped as he was stepping on. We choose the upgraded dinners as one of our free at sea offers and every one we sent to was incredible. The food was great and the service was great, we couldn't of asked for anything better. Other than the fall, we had a great experience.

Balcony

Cabin BC

It was your basic balcony room that we've had on other cruises. Maybe a slight smaller.

Port Reviews

Maui

We didn't do an excursion on Maui but we did get out at port but there was really nothing there except a shopping center.

Kona (Kailua Bay)

No excursion, however there was small beach right off the the port after you were tendered in which was perfect. You could rent chairs and an umbrella and they also had other things you could rent to do. And there was an ABC store right there so we bought a small cooler and some drinks and we were good to go. We didn't snorkel but we heard people saying that they saw a lot of great stuff further out. The beach was nice and when you went in the water it was sandy and only got a little rocky further out. They had really cute little town that was right there which had a ton of shopping and restaurants. We were going to a beach transfer to another beach but was told that the beach had some bad weather and the beach was super rocky. This was perfect!
