The Viking River cruise was beyond our expectations! The food was wonderful, both on the ship and the local eateries at each port allowing us to get a taste of all the local flavors. The staff were fun, helpful, professional and very knowledgable about the regions we were traveling to. The captain was great - making a point to greet and chat with every passanger. The staterooms were clean, comfortable and very functional - loved the heated floors and mirrors. The onboard amenities such as laundry and mailing postcards were just a couple of the added perks that made the experience that much more thoughtful. The shore excursions were more than we could have imaged - great walking tours, comfortable coach buses to get us there and local guides added a whole other level of authenticity and credentials to the experience and the information they were sharing. We loved every part of our trip! Can not wait for our next cruise.
