We chose this cruise because we have never been on Princess. It was our anniversary and the price and timing of the cruise was good for us.

Embarkation was a breeze! On the ship in our cabin in 15 minutes from drop off at the terminal! Luggage was delivered 20 minutes later. We pre ordered some alcohol and it was supposed to be in the room, but it took another hour and several phone calls later to get it. Our room was great! HUGE balcony on the Caribe deck 10! Neighbors were wonderful!

The buffet was not so great. They do have hand sanitizer now before you go in so dirty hands are not all over the serving spoons! Dining room food was very good. We ate all lunches and dinners in there. Try all 3 dining rooms if you can and sign up for anytime dining. Go to the Da Vinci after 7:30 for dinner - less crowded. Lunch in the dining room is a must because of all the choices and special attention. The 2nd night of the cruise a passenger became "lost" at 3:30 am! The bridge came on the intercom in every passenger's room to ask 3 times if she could call the customer service desk. The 4th and final interruption of a good night's sleep came around 4:00 am telling us she has been found and is safe... Needless to say, it was the talk of the rest of the cruise. Rumors from "she was found passed out on the smoking deck" to "she was confined to her cabin for the rest of the cruise" floated around! It did make for some dinner conversation and quite a funny bit in AJ Jamal's comedy performance! If you want room service, be prepared to be on hold for about 45 minutes! You could walk to the buffet and back to your cabin 3-4 times in that time! Our cabin steward was good when he was available. They do a pager system where if you need something, just give him a page and he will be right there - in about 40 minutes or never (in our case twice!) They really work hard, so you can't blame them for taking a small break! Cabo was a bust! It took about 2 hours to get off the ship and finally at 4:00pm we sailed into Cabo in the rain! For the first timers there, I felt bad, but for us - no big deal! It's really not that great of a port!

HUGE balcony! Lots of storage. Good mid ship location - close to everything! Never felt cramped except in the bathroom! Welcome aboard a cruise ship shower!
