So we chose this cruise because of the dates (over our anniversary) - and the price of the available mini-suite (we booked about a month out). Because of that - we didn't get to pick the cabin location.. we got to try to participate in NCL's bidding upgrade offer - but in the end we stayed in the cabin we were assigned. The mini-suite worked out great.
We've been on other NCL ships of varying ages.. and this one felt .. odd to us. The layout of the floor plans seems to keep you indoors.. and unless you look for them - there just aren't that many windows to the outside. Very much like being in a Las Vegas casino.
We'd read some reviews that the public spaces aren't really large enough - and we agree.
From the deck plan this cabin is hard to predict - its near the Splash Academy, the stairs and the corridor isn't a straight pathway (you have to go on port port/starboard hallways to get there). That said I would stay in that cabin again. There was very little noise when the door was closed. some noise from above - but not very pronounced most nights - we think it was moving deck chairs/tables.
There was a lot of storage (some of which we only found on the last day) - although very few drawers. Behind the padded back of the couch and drawers under the coach are easy to overlook.
The bathroom/shower was odd - but didn't bother us much - and the shower was spacious with plenty of hot water.
