We choose this cruise because it went out of Tampa and fit into our timeframe. This was a small, older ship. The décor was very dated. The ship was very clean though. It was easy to get around and didn't feel crowded except in the main dining room where the tables are very close together. The food in the main dining room was good but not anything to write home about. THE COFFEE IS TERRIBLE. NO ONE AT OUR TABLE COULD DRINK IT. The ice tea tasted like instant and we had to ask for a wine list every night. The bands and specialty singers in the central foyer were terrific. We really enjoyed the 60's and 70's theme nights. There needs to be more seating available on the sixth and seventh floors for those who want to watch the entertainment on the 5th floor of the center foyer. The entertainment in the theater was OK. The guest singer and hypno-entertainer were terrific, the ship's singers and dancers were OK. We enjoyed the entertainment director's commentary. Elvis is a very funny guy. We enjoyed all of the ports except Belize City. Don't waste your time going ashore in Belize. We would have liked to have had more time in Costa Maya. This is our third cruise with Royal Caribbean. In the future we will try to stick to newer ships.
This cabin is next to the crew door leading to a work area. It is noisy with the crew door slamming until at least 1 am. Bathroom shower very small.
The river walk is a great way to spend a couple of hours.
Easy port to explore on your own.
Went to the history museum and the beach. Both were enjoyable.
Beautiful beaches. The port is clean with lots to see and do.
