Valentine's Day cruise. We are in our mid 50's on our 25th cruise - first time on Explorer. Great Diamond Lounge with a wonderful concierge (Jayeon). Amazing Cabin Steward for our Junior Suite - best we have ever had (Julaidi). Steven and Er'er were also the best Dining Room servers we have ever had. Unfortunately there was a large element of passengers that wore thongs and caps into the main Sapphire Dining room at night.

This lowered the tone overall which was disappointing . Management were told but responded that they have to relax standards for the Australian cruises to the South Pacific.

The real reason is they are afraid to uphold standards for fear of passenger confrontation. This phenomena of lower standards is occurring on most cruise ships now. Had some late night partying noise coming from pool deck in the middle of the night. Smoking area group causing a disturbance. The noise penetrated into our cabin via balcony doors. Again security were reluctant to act but eventually got it under control.
