This was our first cruise and may be our last. From the time we got on the ship to when we got off, there were problems. It started off with us checking into our room to find water all over the floor. The solution was to bring in a large noisy fan to dry out the carpet. After standing in line at guest services for at least an hour, we were finally able to get our cabin switched. We were traveling in a large group for a meeting with over 700 people and come to find out, we were not the only ones with water issues and plumbing issues in our room. The smell on this ship was terrible, most likely due to the water problems.

Next up were the long lines for EVERYTHING! We were never able to get a drink at the bar, get food, or simply grab a water without standing in line. No one seemed to be in charge and monitoring this type of thing. You would think if a manager or someone in charge noticed that lines were really long at the pool bar that perhaps they would pull someone over to help out but this never happened. We felt like most of the trip was spent standing in line. This was the case all of the time at the pool bars and additionally inside at the schooner bar. They would be hosting a trivia or some event with 1 or maybe 2 bartenders staffing the bar. It would seem as though this would be more of a well oiled machine as old as this ship is and as many cruises as it's taken, management would know how many employees were needed to accommodate that number of people.

Lastly, it seemed as though no one really cared about helping us or giving great service. We brought our office team of 10 people with us. Our dining tables were not together so after waiting in the guest services line, we were told to check in at the starlight dining desk right before dinner and it would be no problem. Well, we did that and the answer we got was I'm sorry we can't do that for you, meanwhile we noticed several empty tables. A manager finally came over and told us just to walk around and try to find an empty table. WHAT?! How about, "Come with me, let's see what we can find!" He acted completed put out when I asked him to help me find a table!
