Rhapsody is the smallest ship I have cruised on and I will admit to being nervous and skeptical! I did feel the ocean, oh boy, but it did not bother me like I had thought. I loved being able to walk the ship in minutes and I can't describe how "empty" the ship felt! There were times when nobody was in the pool or up on the deck! I absolutely loved the simplicity of the ship and by the end of the week we were running into people whom we did shore excursions with as well as our dining room mates! The ship is super clean and well kept. It did feel old but not run down. I think it comes down to your style and what you like as to whether or not you would enjoy a cruise on a ship this size. The entertainment was less, but just fine. I didn't feel the pressure to have to choose what to do! We wanted a scaled down, less eventful experience and wow, did we get that! There was no problem getting a chair by the pools, the shows had seating and dining was very pleasant. I found the staff very friendly and overall, I truly enjoyed this cruise. You don't pay the "Oasis class" prices and Tampa is super easy to navigate. I did not enjoy the Rum Tour in Belize. It was a slum tour with a side of Rum. We did Nachi Cocom in Cozumel and was was that amazing! Totally recommend! In Costa Maya we did Maya Chan Beach. The beach is a little unsettling as the water was brownish in color and the seaweed is still an issue. However, the food and drinks with the beautiful facility is just amazing. I would recommend and return in a heartbeat! Key West was a blast! I had never been there and we just had an amazing day! We stayed in an Owners Suite (Room 8002) and it was the largest room I have ever stayed in. Our room attendant (Rodil Galeas) was amazing and so friendly and attentive. The Voom internet was hit or miss....and mostly miss for me. I was disappointed that we had to pay for the Voom as a suite guest and it didn't work well at all. It really was awful. Normally I have to work from the ship and this trip I was able to not work. Had I needed to get on the internet for work with a steady connection I think it would have been even more frustrating. For the price, value and less crowded experience, this ship was so much fun. I love the large ships, but the benefit of not competing with people for everything really made this ship special. I would love to see Royal Caribbean bring out a luxury small ship that would offer just the small ship experience in a new version. I enjoyed seeing drink people on the pool deck and music playing over the speakers when the band wasn't playing. Both of those are lost on the larger ships. The pool deck band was the best we have heard on a cruise ship and they actually had people standing around just to listen to them! In general, this trip was amazing. It had some quirks and some issues, but I think almost every cruise I have taken has had some issues. I have not had a perfect one yet. However, I was totally able to overlook the negative for the positive and relax and enjoy! To all the haters complaining about food or music, or whatever, relax, your on vacation! These people work so hard to make your vacation a success! Cheers!

Cabin Review

Owner's Suite

Cabin OS

Amazing! Yes there is windjammer noisy. It didn't cause me to lose sleep. The cabin is clean and everything worked really well. There was plenty of water pressure and the A/C worked really well. The view from the balcony was simply amazing. Having the extra space is worth the money and I wish I could choose owners suites every cruise!
