Sail Date: Feb 2018
Cabin: Royal Suite 1

Have been cruising with them for nearly 10 years and every cruise experience has been flawless.

We did not cruise the departure city before the cruise, but did do it after the cruise on a complimentary tour provided by the Cruise line as our flight departed late in the day. As in all other previous cruises, This Cruise Line does not merely dump you at the Airport when you get off the ship if you have a late in the day flight out, but will arrange for something nice to spend your time till your flight leaves if it departs after 2 pm.

The ship has been recently refurbished to a more contemporary decor, but I preferred the old luxury look with stained Oak & Mahogany wood finishes and Burgundy drapes and carpets compared to the present paint, chrome and patterned carpets they have now.

Cabin Review

Royal Suite 1

Cabin R1

The Suite appears to have been recently refurbished with a more contemporary decor. I preferred the old stained Mahogany/Teak/ Oak finishes for the walls, trim and cabinets & Burgundy carpets, compared to the present painted trim and patterned floor covering. Our suite was right in front of the ship, so we had more than the usual level of anchor noise, but otherwise the suite was spacious and luxurious.
