Can only compare to Regal Princess;
We decided to try Norwegian for a change had a great time all in all pluses and minuses. Our only complaints were the buffet wasn’t as good as Princess but the restaurants were actually better. Too much focus on up selling with NCL and charges for basics such as Coffee, bottled water which was all free on princess. Pool has been sacrificed for the water park whereas Princess had two pools. So the sea days are cramped up on deck around the one pool. Luckily H20 made up for that as somewhere to cool off at the stern of the ship.
This is a good ship for first timers the minuses were made up with pluses elsewhere as we had something to compare to. They do need to back off on the up selling it’s a turn off for anyone. This ship suits the 20-60 yr old demographic who want carefree cruising geared to a more lively experience. If your looking for quiet elegance this is not the ship or the cruise line for you.
Typically Scandinavian but a little cramped
