This was our second cruise on Norwegian and although we love the "freestyle" feel of the cruise, it is difficult to feel free when you have to make reservations every night for the specialty dining places or eat at 9 pm, if then. Part of the draw to Norwegian is to not be on a schedule! This ship is so large and there just simply isn't enough Sun/pool deck space for this many people. If you don't go out and reserve your deck chair by 7 am, you might not get one till 1-2 pm in the afternoon. They are supposed to watch chairs and pull items when left unattended for over an hour, well I saw that happen once! Cigars are only to be smoked in the Cigar room, and people were lighting up in all the smoking areas. On the front Sun Deck guests were puffing on their vape pens in the deck chairs and non-smoking area's, when we informed the staff, they said they'd take care of it...never did. Our bed was so hard, we didn't get one good night of sleep. Found that most of the food was either very salty or no flavor at all! We wanted a nice juicy burger and the only place you could get that was Margaritiville and you had to pay an additional service charge for that! Seems like everything is starting to have additional fees associated with it. Too play ping pong you have to rent the paddles. Bottled water is $5.00 and you can't reflll your own water bottle in the cafe. The themed party nights are great, but why does it have to be all techno music. The 80's night would have been great, but they ruined it with adding techno to all of it. The adult only parties were filled with kids! We were very disappointed!
Pretty standard. The shower was great. No electrical outlets in bathroom so forced to get ready in the cabin! Bed was hard as a rock, even had them change out our mattress...didn't help!
This was an amazing port, we can't wait to go back and experience more of the island!
Miami is fantastic! Biscayne Blvd offered some really great shops, restaurants and tours! We will definitely be going back!
