I chose last fall the Seaside as my first cruise because it was brand new. When the critics started to come out in December, I was afraid I hadn't make the right choice. However, I was pleasantly surprised and everything went very nice. My husband had done maybe 15 cruises before and was also pleased by Seaside.

We got at the port around 14h and the embarkation was really fast, we didn't have to wait anywhere. We were told at this point that our stop in Nassau was canceled due to the bad weather. We were frustrated at first, but with the waves we got in the next days, and when we heard about the cruise that went to Nassau anyway, we were really happy that MSC chose security of the passengers. Once aboard, it was easy with the MSC for me App, or with the staff (didn't have any difficulty to communicate), to book restaurants, massages, change dining options, etc. We changed our cruise cards for wristbands (5$), much more convenient during our stay.

We were Fantastica with an Ocean View Cabin on deck 5. We didn't hear the engines. The cabin size was ok. We had sufficient storage space for two, but I guess if we had been 3 or 4, it would have felt crowded or there would have been a lack of space.

Cabin Review

Cabin Fantastica Ocean View

Perfect size for 2 passengers. Bathroom correct size, nice mirrors. Good storage space for 1 couple for 1 week. Didn't heard next rooms or people in the corridor, nor the engines.
